English is important ,i had a interview a few days ago,it was about English assistant.i talked with a foreign boss,i could quite understand him ,but my presentation was poor enough,i couldnot express what i wanted to. at college ,you should study English yourself ,you cannot wait for your teacher to teach you how .it is you that should study it and use it.

Elvawd, according to your experience, I can finally make sure that most of us have difficulties in expressing ourselves while we can smoothly understand others. For this deficiency, we can not actually make an active communication with foreigners. So we must word harder on training our out-speaking and also handwriting.

I want to improve my listening skill, I follow my teacher's advise that listen to VOA special English. On the other hand,when I turn on the computer, I play the English-listening record. I don't know whether it really makes sense, but I aim to make myself getting use to English comtext, not to understand it. Some websites can help me practise listening, too.
